Casualty Complaints

I’m seriously considering writing to the BBC about taking casualty off every single time there is some kind of special tv programme on.

Like seriously, it’s utterly ridiculous that shows like coronation street & emmerdale are on 4 days a week and we’re lucky if casualty is on once every 2 weeks.

I’m not being funny but at least show it every Saturday and replace something else instead.. Casualty is like the most popular TV show on Saturday evenings ffs

How can casualty be a continuing drama when it’s not allowed to run continuously?

All this cancelling casualty for programs that could have been put on the TV earlier or on another channel or on another day, that people don’t really watch or have any interest in when casualty has been running for nearly 30 years and its audience look forward to watch on a Saturday night and yet it never seems to be on. Without casualty my Saturday nights are boring and know casualty is on makes getting through a week of hard work a little easier.
STOP CANCELLING CASUALTY !!!!!

I understand how you feel. When I was your age, going to school every day, just waiting for that one night of the week my favourite tv show was on, it CRUSHED me when it was cancelled for some sort of event I had no interest in.

But for reals like nearly 200 million people are expected to watch Eurovision.

Just remember why we’re called the shoelace fandom :P

They don’t cancel Casualty for things that ‘people don’t really watch or have any interest in’, though. Rugby world cup? VE Day Celebrations? Eurovision? Children in Need? All bring in huge audiences and deserve to be shown on Saturday night primetime.

Yes, it’s annoying when they cancel Casualty again for something you’re not interested in, but I think we’re lucky that it’s shown on a Saturday at all. Absolutely write to the BBC if it’s something you feel strongly about, but what is your alternative? Broadcast it on Monday nights? Thursday nights? In which case you lose viewing figures, you lose budget and you lose actors.
